NESC offers a range of consulting services for nonprofits but focuses on four areas: planning, board development, organizational assessments, and operational assessments. In addition to consulting, we offer executive search services.

Here is a summary

  1. Planning –
     Three-to-five-year strategic plans with a comprehensive look at an organization’s internal capabilities and external opportunities and a set  of priorities with implementation plans for each priority.12-to-18 month “Roadmaps” with action plans to achieve specific goals.
  2. Board Development – Helping nonprofit boards become more effective by establishing clear roles, responsibilities, accountability for board members and committees, and succession plans for members and officers.
  3. Organizational Assessments – A review of a nonprofit’s capabilities and programs plus recommendations to strengthen the organization.
  4. Operational Assessments are reviews of a nonprofit’s systems and processes that include recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness and reduce costs. These could include sharing services with other nonprofits or outsourcing certain functions.
  5. Executive Search – Retained search for senior nonprofit executives, including executive directors and directors of development.
