An NESC Roadmap enables a client to establish goals and manage the process of achieving them. It is particularly suited to small or early-stage nonprofits that do not yet need a strategic plan.

Working with the client, NESC develops a 12-18 month plan that includes:

  • Prioritized and aligned goals
  • Key success factors or milestones
  • Supporting action plans and timeline
  • Required resources
  • Accountability and responsibility assigned
  • Dashboard to monitor key performance indicators

Examples of goals are

  • Strengthening the board of directors through recruitment and training
  • Developing a fundraising plan

For each goal, the Roadmap provides:

  • Necessary steps to complete + completion for each step
  • Person(s) responsible for each step
  • Success metrics
