An NESC Roadmap enables a client to establish goals and manage the process of achieving them. It is particularly suited to small or early-stage nonprofits that do not yet need a strategic plan.
Working with the client, NESC develops a 12-18 month plan that includes:
- Prioritized and aligned goals
- Key success factors or milestones
- Supporting action plans and timeline
- Required resources
- Accountability and responsibility assigned
- Dashboard to monitor key performance indicators
Examples of goals are
- Strengthening the board of directors through recruitment and training
- Developing a fundraising plan
For each goal, the Roadmap provides:
- Necessary steps to complete + completion for each step
- Person(s) responsible for each step
- Success metrics
